VRC Over-Under "Heatwave" Robot at Templestowe Tournament 27272X and 7479C
Gooday sir. I was looking for the coding for line following on litebeewing.
Hi again I re rav your video , I have a problem after the Spike Prime is back on white and I want to upload the cuber software it states an upgrade is neccessary, In you video it work fine but mine jumos bace to version 3, Did I do anything wrong or could toy point me in the right direction, I did so want to make the Rubics solver.
Thank you I followed your instructions and managed to restore down to white button V2 thankyou, Im making a rubriks cube solver
Love the design if they have pneumatics they can do a adjustable shooter mech that is very cool
Your pneumatic adjustable shooter video is fantastic, what team are you from? Garry
@@CreatorAcademyAustraliaI’m not on a robotics team now I’m switching between schools and I’m not even 100% I’m going to make the team but I hope so in all of my videos I’m the only one that builds the robot other than the first dump bot design I had
Is there any way to link the pneumatics to the controller?
very interesting design i would love a video showcasing how this robot works because it is very impressive
Looks like it could hold 2 balls and then use the low-goal scoring mechanism to score both. No?
I’ll get them to try it out!
How does your shooter work, my team is building a flywheel, and tips for that?
Hi! It is a modified version of the shooter from the Hero Robot. A flywheel would be a great idea!
Great robot!
i was just waiting for it to shoot in the high goal but it never did😂 I assume tiny heatwave is solving that now!
Yep, they’re working on it! 😁
Why share ideas on UA-cam? Don't you see that this limits children's thinking and makes them lazy and limited in their imagination? I know that sharing ideas contributes significantly to developing a child's level in robotics, but I see that this limits the child's work in building the robot they imagined for the first time. Great job! Good luck!
umm what
@@zerotwoplayssomegames Why share ideas on UA-cam? Don’t you see that this limits children’s thinking and makes them lazy and limited in their imagination? I know that sharing ideas contributes significantly to developing a child's skills in robotics, but I believe that it limits the child’s creativity in building and engineering robots. Anyway, great job! Good luck!
As you said: seeing more ideas will improve a child’s learning. Teams can get inspiration (or not) from this design. Garry
@@CreatorAcademyAustralia Yes, this has pros and cons
It's very challenging to balance this- some kids (and mentors!) are new and struggle without seeing lots of ideas online- good to watch widely to learn to assess pros/cons. Some may just copy the metabot. There's no way to stop people posting bots from week 1, but we try to mostly show mechanisms (and not even tuned ones) early season to get those creative juices flowing!
how many motors?
6 motors total. Garry
OMG that’s amazing it works!
Very interesting concept
Annnnnnnd foot made me laugh
your a life saver 👍👍👍
Glad you enjoyed it!
the off sync is so distracting lmao
General question do you know how to find the position of the robot on the FLL task surface and how to implement it in the code
I feel like this would be kinda useless unless you have a turrent or something to shoot close to the outputs. its so slow it wouldnt really be effective at cycling.
4:16 he says not to do everything (logging this for my team, don't mind me)
Am definitely going to be using a couple of these in my rapid relay bot, increasing height might be useful :D
Very good!!
Why would this give an advantage it’s really cool though
Hi! The movement can help reduce the amount of turning and give more precision when aiming for shots. Garry
@@CreatorAcademyAustraliacool
@@CreatorAcademyAustraliabut I feel like a proper H-drive would be better because it’s three motors and moves similar to this bot but I still think it’s very cool
Thanks!
Thank you! Glad that you found the video helpful. Garry
I want to get the detail of the claw machine,
Can you remove The sond😊?

I NEED THIS!!!!!!
When I 3d print. If I pause the print and put a new color in it doesn't print where it left off from and goes ahead of where it should. Any suggestions on what I could be doing wrong
Which printer are you using? Some printers may not have the feature.
A VERY Helpful video! Great Job! 🙂
I feel like there won't really be that much climbing unless there are some major rule changes because 1. It is currently insanely hard due to weird expansion rules and 2. It is basically useless in most situations because of the corners
Maybe, but it is good to take in account that you can only have a maximum of 88 points in this game, so max elevation is still 13% of the points you can get in High Stakes, so I feel personally it will be much more useful than you think. For the first point however you might be right, but it was already very rare to see an over under bots elevation break those rules so it may be more of a challenge but I think people will find a way.
@@AnotherPersonA i see your point, but a fully filled mobile goal in a positive corner is worth 16 points, which is even more. on top of that, due to expansion rules, it would probably take atleats 10-15 seconds to reach level 3 if your fast, which would give your opent time to move the mobile goal to a negative corner, which is a 24 point swing, which will cancel out your elevation.
I bought the build for my class. The software wants to be in another release. they have not updated it. We (We being two software teachers and an engineering teacher) tried to do what they suggested, and we found that it was too difficult for middle schoolers to do and it still did not work. We tried several ways including stopping the video and building the blocks that we saw. Basically it was a no go. Therefore do not waste the 4 bucks until they update the software.
If you search for Spike Prime Balancing Robot, you will see Builderdude35, Igor Bogorod, Brickmania all successfully using this model and code to balance. As mentioned in our message before, your SPIKE version must be 2.x in order to function.
YEAH! Lets Go 27272A.
what set is this 3x3 screen from, what is it called?
Hi, this is the light matrix from SPIKE Essential. Garry
@@CreatorAcademyAustralia 👍
Woah that’s pretty nice
I purchased the KS0085 Keyestudio Smart Home Kit for Arduino I followed the steps in the wiki and reached the step of connecting the plus board, but it did not appear for me in the device manager in Windows. What is the solution? Please respond quickly.
In Devices it should appear under Ports (COM & LPT) as “Silicon Labs 210x…”. If you are connecting in Arduino software, you should select “Arduino Uno” in the list. Good luck! Garry

Can i get code plz.
hgod job
Thanks! How did your team go?
Really cool interview!
Awesome! Well explained too.
Glad it was helpful! Garry
yoo!
he slipped up and called the ai sensor a 2d sensor… will there be a 3d one?
You need two eyes for 3d vision. The ai sensor will be 2d
I recognize those jackets! My team partnered with one of your teams for a qualification match
